How routing works.
Discovery, quotes, and execution are different capabilities.
Discover
We index supported sources to find tokens and pools. Indexing can be incomplete or delayed. A listing does not establish token safety or guarantee liquidity.
Compare
For the selected pair and amount, adapters request quotes from supported venues. Coverage depends on the adapter, pool type, available data, and current network responses. We do not claim exhaustive pool coverage or the best price across all of Arc.
Review an executable route
Some results are quote-only. They can be compared but cannot be submitted through Venue. If an ArcSwap alternative is available, you must explicitly review it; a different route is not silently substituted.
Prepare and confirm
Preparation checks the supported path, current account and network, balances, allowance, and transaction simulation. Approval and swap are separate steps. After approval, prepare a fresh swap quote. An expired quote must be refreshed.
Know what is verified
Simulation can detect some failures, but does not guarantee settlement. Confirmed receipts and token movements provide execution evidence. Balance changes can be inconclusive when other transactions occur in the same block.
